David & Sarah's Country House Hotel Wedding was gorgeous. From the decore to the weather it was a perfect Country House Hotel Wedding day! You may recognise these two from their Couple Portrait Session adventure in Rannerdale, if you haven't seen the blog, click the link.
David & Sarah met through one of Davids best friends who worked with Sarah. She asked Sarah if she could show David, Sarah's profile picture from facebook because she knew that they would be perfect for each other. That very same day they started talking, and two weeks later they had their first date. "David was such a gentleman, polite, kind and made me feel so special. I ran to tell my sister (she's my best friend) all about our magical date."
"We both have a love of travelling and our first trip away to Vienna was just four weeks after our first date. We squeezed in Madrid, Mexico and New York that year too. I suppose you can count Iceland in that first year as well, we were there for our first anniversary, sitting in the blue lagoon.
When we were planning to move in together, we set aside a little bit of money to go on the trip of a lifetime... We started with a sightseeing trip to London, flew to Calgary then got on a disco bus to Banff in the rocky mountains. We made the most of our time away, spending every second soaking it all in and going on as many adventures as possible. David had planned a very special surprise too......
I'd always dreamt of going to a beautiful place called Lake Moraine. I'd seen a picture years before and all I knew was that it was in Canada, it was a lake surrounded by mountains and had two big trees obscuring the view, but I knew I HAD to go to this place. After a bit of research, David found it. He knew I always wanted to go with my much loved Grandad, so that day was going to be very emotional as Grandad was there only in my thoughts and memories. I was sat on the wall looking at 'the view' and then it happened. He asked me to marry him in the most beautiful place on earth with a ring from Tiffany & co. David had planned it for months, asked my Dads permission and everyone had kept it a complete secret."
It was an amazing wedding day, Sarah & I even managed to sort out some suprise transport for David with a cheeky mustang! Sam from West Coast Entertainment also managed to get all the ladies and lads up for a dance-off, the guys took YMCA very seriously!
