Country House Eclectic Styled Bohemian Wedding

Steph and Jons big day was a truly beautiful Eclectic Styled Bohemian Wedding. The ceremony and party itself was at Jons family home in West -Midlands which was in its own right, stunning. With home grown flowers from the garden, games, picnics and a huge marquee to fit the setting was perfect for all 200 friends and family to share and enjoy.

I travelled down the night before alongside many other close friends and family and after arriving at the house we all got stuck in helping dress the place and help in anyway we could. I was even treated to a meal with everyone, these guys do hospitality seriously well! And this was just the start. In a way it was a great insight to the family and what they're all about. Everything and everyone at this amazing wedding were all about including everyone, having fun but most importantly about sharing the moments together.

The ceremony was sublime as the bridal party walked down to Nick Caves “Into My Arms” while Jonathan infused a cup of tea and passed it to Steph during the last chorus. We enjoyed Hymns together with some amazing impromptu jazz licks and also some wonderful poems and readings from the Bible. There was also the classic tradition of hand fasting and blessing the wedding rings before putting them on.

The most moving part for me however was when everyone was asked to write down a prayer, hope or wish onto a luggage tag and to tie the marquee and the arch frame with them. It was wonderful watching everyone wishing the best and praying with and for the couple. After all of this they walked away as husband and wife shimmying to "Love on Top” by Beyonce.
