Well, this was Stephen & Kris's second take at a Couple Portrait session as their last one, The Lake District Couple Portrait Session in Snow, Sleet, Hail and Rain. Was, well, full of sleet, hail and rain... not the best conditions for a fun-filled adventure with cameras! However, this amazing duo soldiered on and we made it work.
On the way back to the car I offered to do the shoot again next time they were both up in hopefully better conditions, thankfully those conditions turned out to be perfect earlier today! Although the weather forecast and driving through Penrith had me full of dread of another white fierce out!
We started out near the Theatre by the lake and walked up towards a little craggy hill (somewhere near Walla Crag but I can't remember its name, my bad) before heading back down to the shoreline of Derwent water and heading back to the cars. All the while, we spoke about the upcoming wedding day plans and all the fun that will happen, even a surprise, so if you're a guest of this amazing wedding, you're in for a treat!
