Derwent Water Sunrise Portrait Session

Jack & Charlotte are a wonderful couple full of beans for life. Both having past worked in the tech side of stage shows and live performances at local theatres. Funnily enough, Jack and I actually crossed paths many years ago while I was a crew member and sound guy at a local venue.

In tow was Bruce their black Labrador who is gentle as anything and lots of fun when playing tug of war with on top of Castlehead which is where we started our Derwent Water Couple Portrait Session.

Castlehead is a low wooded hill close to Keswick town centre and is only 160 meters high with amazing views across Derwent and the snowy fells ahead of you. We then ventured down to the shoreline for some more photos and afterwards headed into Keswick centre for a hot chocolate.

As always we talked about all sorts including plans for the upcoming wedding on Ullswater and a quick guide on posing and how I work as a photographer in a chilled out way.

Check out the photos below and If you would like to have a couples portrait session with myself, or even have me photograph your big day, then please do get in touch.
