Laura Ashley Hotel The Belsfield Wedding

Emma & Craig met in Lanzarote back in 2004, but only got together officially in 2007. Emma worked in Craig's dad's bar out there and Craig himself moved out there in 2006. While Emma Is from the south of England and Craig from the north they both chose to get married in the lake district as they both love it here and spent a lot of their time up there when we were younger.

They visit at least once a year, so it made sense to travel to the Laura Ashley Hotel, Belsfield for their wedding day. They both adore the design and location the Belsfeild sits on.

The Laura Ashley Hotel The Belsfield in Windermere is a superb example of Victorian Italiante architecture, and is amongst the grandest Victorian Buildings on Lake Windermere. Built in 1845 as a private residence for the Baroness Von Sternberg, the house was acquired by the steel magnate Henry Schnieder in 1869 and converted to a hotel in 1892 and extended to provide additional bedrooms shortly before the First World War.

After the supposedly good luck charm of rain on the morning the day. It brightened up and we managed to venture to the water front for some beautiful couples photographs, just us three, and all the tourists!

These guys are seriously cool and laid back with the best sense of humour ever! A lot of the wedding details were handmade by the couple and friends/family. which left to the bridal prep being lots of fun tying bows and finalising the flowers etc. The stunning mix of DIY and the Belsfeild was amazing! It all just flowed and fitted perfectly. I adored it, and them! Little Eve was also amazing throughout the entire day. Oh, you also had to take a shot before you got into the wedding breakfast! Now thats my kinda crowd! 😉

Anyway that's enough from me, have a look at this stunning family all enjoying themselves. Watch the slideshow or scroll down the blog.
