Lauren Amy MUA Version of Events:

“It was almost as if we had booked the day knowing it was going to snow when we originally started planning the wedding shoot. What a beautiful day we had to shoot in. It was like a winter wonderland- however I’m extremely grateful that Josh drove and not me, as number one I would have been waving goodbye to himself and Lisa at the bottom of every fell, and number two I would probably have skidded of the edge of Whinlatter on the way up. If anyone knows me they know I am a cold person. So after going from my lovely warm house, where I did the makeup. To the frosty outdoors I decided to stay strong and not complain due to the fact that Lisa was modelling in her wedding dress, and she must have been freezing! I couldn’t possibly be as cold as her. So instead I stayed quiet and helped and supported the brave soul. No no I’m kidding I didn’t stop complaining about how much I couldn’t feel my feet. Lisa handled the weather a lot better than I. But never the less I did my best to help Josh and Lisa out/ chatted the whole day nonstop. Josh was the perfect photographer for this shoot and I’m glad I did it with him as he really knows his locations that will bring the wow factor to any picture. The Lake District is a beautiful place. But to find the very best places that will take your breath away, you really have to know where to find it, and Josh did indeed. Lisa was amazing that day! She didn’t complain once about the snow and the temperature at all, whilst being stood in a dress and HEELS! So therefore it made the shoot a lot easier and the whole team kept high spirit. I wanted to keep the makeup looking, fresh and natural with a little something around the eye area. This is what I find most brides ask me for on their wedding day, so I wanted brides to look at these pictures and almost relate or even picture themselves on their wedding day around this area. I personally don’t think there is anywhere nicer in the UK to get married and I feel the pictures strongly show this. All in all I loved this day. It felt easy due to the team being so professional yet laid back at the same time, so we all could get on with it, enjoy it… and even have a quick brew back at mine to end the day on a more, warmer note.” [/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]And some outtakes!
