Outdoor ceremonies are always stunning, even more, when set in the woodlands of Friars Carse Country Hotel. With 45 acres of land to explore its the perfect venue for an outdoorsy couple to say their vows in a humanist ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Even if it did hail for a few moments during the ceremony!
My coverage of the day started just before the woodland ceremony and ended just after the ceilidh band finished for the reception. On arrival, I went for a small adventure exploring the grounds before guests were ushered out into the woodland for the ceremony to start.
As you can tell, tractors and rural life are big parts of Scott & Amey's life, including a massive love for tractors, and even being beekeepers! The time table of the day was on a beehive, the table names were named after tractor brands and even their daughters peddled their way into the ceremony on a ride-along tractor with the youngest in the trailer! So fricken cute!
You actually couldn't get a more perfect wedding venue for this couple other than Friars Carse Country House.
Neither of them being from Scotland originally and meeting at the Festival of Transport through a mutual friend. 8 years later here we are, they have now made Scotland their home and are raising two gorgeous children, a few thousand bees and several tractors.

Joshua a great person to have at your special day, we previously had a couple shoot with him before the big day and was amazed at his eye for pictures. We love seeing his work and having him capture our day. Xx
