I recently had an enquiry asking me to photograph a wedding for half price and in return, they would “Sing your praises” on their “Social media presence”.
I, in fact, turned down this offer as I was already booked (go figure) but in hindsight, I missed a fantastic opportunity, and it is with this in mind that I am today, announcing my special “Influencers pricing and discount perks”. Keep reading to find out just how much you can save below.
As with all business opportunities I thought it best to start researching what precisely an influencer is in the world of social media and how much they charge, after all, I need to know how much they cost to know just how good the service I will be expecting to be and just how more significant chunk of a discount they should expect from me.
“on average influencers on the following platforms will charge:
Instagram Influencers: $1,000 per 100,000 followers
Snapchat Influencers: Starts at $500 per campaign in 24 hours
YouTube Influencers: Roughly $2,000 per 100,000 followers
Kim Kardashian, who reportedly charges over $250,000 for an Instagram photo.”
Needless to say with those numbers, there is clearly a business model and clearly some money to be made but… Enough with the research its time for you to see my discount rates!
The bellow following numbers are based across your entire social media presence, not just on one platform. They are also based on one mention per day for the rest of your life.
My discounts are as follows:
100,000 followers: I will give you a free A4 print, un-mounted and un-framed.
200,000 followers: I will offer a second photographer for free, for 60 seconds.
300,000 followers: I will eat all of your sweet table. Including the table itself.
400,000 followers: I will tell your uncle “knob head” to “Piss off”.
500,000 followers: I will get really “artsy” and make sure things are out of focus.
If you have over 1,000,000 followers, then you will have the absolute honour of paying on my behalf:
- Business insurance for one year (£400)
- Cameras (£7,000)
- Lens (£6,000)

This in total, comes to £26,950, and isn’t even all of my business costs, as well, you get the idea. But If you have over 1,000,000 followers, then you have the pleasure to pay this on my behalf! Alternatively, you can just pay my going rate, which is less than 10% of this price…
In short, asking someone to work a week, for half a weeks pay isn’t cool in anyone’s books, so why even ask? I’m sure you wouldn’t “Influence” Anyone who offers to pay half of your fee so why ask others? If you really are an influencer then you will, A) Be able to pay my fee & B) Respect me and my work while I photograph your wedding day.
Well, I hope that has cleared up any issues and confusion over my pricing structure. If you do wish to influence on my behalf, then please do contact me on which discount perk you are entitled to receive.
