Coastal Seacote Hotel St Bees Wedding

Kerry & Richard shared their wedding vows at St John’s Church, Hensingham and partied the night away at the Seacote hotel In St Bees, Cumbria.

As a Cumbria based wedding photographer, I’m known for my “F-stop ninja skills” running around unnoticed and capturing all those beautiful candid moments we all love so much in a relaxed way. All while getting some gorgeous photographs on the St Bees beach.

Earlier in the morning, the bride's wedding party went to town to have their hair done by Bazaar Hair Company and makeup by Escape Beauty so by the time I arrived for bridal prep it was all rather chilled. I won't lie, it was a calm before the storm and a drastic change to what I'm used to. Then, out of no-where the rush of dresses and bridesmaids running started. I felt back at home again manic-ness is what I'm used to! Needless to say It wasn't long before everyone was looking beautiful and ready to go for a short journey with the amazing Lake District Vintage Wedding Cars VW’s.

After the ceremony Kerry, Richard and I whizzed off to see Kerry's Grandma at her home and from there we then travel to the beautiful St Bees beach where the Seacote hotel is based.

We ventured out onto the beach twice throughout the wedding day one in the mid-afternoon and later at night. It was amazing how the weather changed in the evening giving us some gorgeous moody shots to contrast the beautifully sunny photos from before.
