As a Lake District And Cumbria Wedding Photographer I'm used to travelling around a little but this weekend I travelled all the way down to Horsley Towers in Surrey for Shereen & Rob's big day. Alongside me for the whole day and the 700-mile round trip was Allan Blackett Second shooting throughout. Horsley Towers is a gorgeous venue, Not only has it got a secret chapel, cloisters and a lake they also have an amazing way with clients. Letting them have more non-traditional events like fire shows for example... More of that in the photos.
Shereen & Rob met 10 years ago while She was working at a bookies where she was the manager. When, according to Shereen, Rob started an argument over betting odds and why he didn't get the return he thought he should. Funnily enough, it wasn't long after that Rob started drinking in Shereen local public establishment where they started to know each other more and more. Needless to say, they got along and rather liked each other. 10 years on they said their vows at Horsley Towers in front of friends and family enjoying their non-traditional wedding which summed them up to the tee!
Shereen had a beautiful black dress with some stunning Jimmy Choo shoes while Rob was sporting a bespoke tailored suit. Not only was her dress non-traditional, but the confetti was replaced with Bubbles and the evening's entertainment was a fire performance by South Coast Eyes of Fire! There were some traditional touches mind, Steve Eggleton was the Toastmaster on hand throughout the entire day helping to make it all run smoothly alongside the venue's staff. The gorgeous cake was made by There's Nothing Quite Like Cake as well which was a beautiful show stopper.
As always, have a look at the below slideshow and images from this epic day. If you would like me to photograph your big day, please feel free to contact me!
