Dalston Walk Couple Portrait Session

Steph and Martin are absolute cuties and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding next year! For their Couple Portrait Session, we decided to keep it local to the village that they live in, just outside of Carlisle, Dalston. Now, while at least once a week I drive through Dalston, I am yet to really get out of the car and explore the village and all of the Dalston walks that it has.

We ventured away from the usual green of the village and down along the river Caldew, which after a recent storm the day before was... a tad damp. These clever clogs though had their wellies, needless to say, my Nikes didn't quite have the same amount of grip and I have no idea how I remained upright for the whole shoot!

While we talked about all the funny things in life and the wedding plans we also went through some basic posing for their upcoming wedding. I adore Couple Portraits for this reason alone, Steph and Martin, aren't the biggest fans of having their photos taken so its a great icebreaker and its a great way to make those nerves die down a little so come the big day it's all nice and chilled out and I can capture those amazing natural moments.

So, check out the photos below and If you would like to have a couples portrait session with myself, or even have me photograph your big day, then please do get in touch.
