Post Wedding Photoshoot at Stanage Edge

Earlier this year, Jess and Andy got married at the beautiful Kenwood Hall in Sheffield. Their wedding day was full of love, laughter, and happy tears. but if you know these two, you’ll know they’re proper outdoorsy souls.

They first met online in April 2023 (thank you, Bumble!), and after Jess soundly beat Andy at duck pin bowling on their first date at Roxie’s in Sheffield, it was clear they had something special. A couple of days later, they went for a walk in the Peaks, chatted about life, grabbed pizza and a pint and though Jess hoped for a kiss, it didn’t happen that night (don’t worry, she made sure he knew about it!). The next day? She finally got that kiss and a Starbucks.

Things moved quickly in the best way possible. They said I love you soon after, got a kitten, moved in together a week later, and by January 2024, they were engaged. By August, they’d already bought their first house.

On their wedding day, Jess says she couldn’t think about anything except Andy. The moment she saw him, she melted. “He grounds me and makes me feel like I am the only one in the world,” she says. “It was the happiest day of my life, I have never loved someone so much.”

While their Sheffield wedding was absolutely perfect, they knew they wanted something more: photos in the place they feel most at peace. The Peak District is their escape from busy lives, a place of quiet, stillness, and breathtaking views that make the world disappear for a moment. They often head out for hikes, take their bikes for a full loop around Ladybower, and just lose themselves in the fresh air.

So a post wedding photoshoot in the Peak District was the perfect way to celebrate their love story all over again, without the tight wedding day schedule.

We headed to Stanage Edge, one of the most iconic spots in the Peaks, known for its dramatic cliffs and sweeping views. True to form, it was incredibly windy, but instead of shying away, Jess and Andy embraced it. Dresses and suits whipping around, hair everywhere, and huge smiles. They had an absolute blast.

A post wedding shoot is perfect for couples who want to relive the magic in a location that feels like home. No guests, no timelines, just the two of you celebrating what really matters.

Jess and Andy’s Stanage Edge photos captured everything they love most: each other, the great outdoors, and that wild, carefree spirit.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding photographer in Sheffield or a post wedding photoshoot in the Peak District, and want photos that truly feel like you, let’s chat. Whether you’re into wild cliffs, quiet lakes, or epic bike rides, we can create something unforgettable together.
