Ritchie & Gem had a stunning intimate wedding ceremony with their closest friends and family at Carlisle registry office (Lady G's) followed by a reception at The Lakes distillery. Right from the start this adventure couple wanted to head into the lakes and up the fells so a Post Wedding Portrait Session was always going to happen!
We made plans earlier in the year to go on a hike in the snow but sadly due to health reasons, this didn't happen. What did happen however was that on our re-arranged date the sun was out and it was a perfect hiking day! With a last-minute change of plans because of the epic weather, we decided to hike up, Robinson fell overlooking Buttermere, Crummock Water, Loweswater, and right in the background you could see the Isle of Man! It was amazing!
Just as with the wedding Buddy the handsome Collie dog joined us for some photos and in general, stole the show if I'm honest! On the way up we cam across a rather huge bog that didn't seem to have a way around it so instead we all just piled on up to our knees and on the way back down Gem decided she wanted to trash her dress in it with a big ol jump!
