It’s just a little bit further ahead, he said while acting confident but inside dying with his lungs on fire. I think it’s fair to say none of us expected to climb a fell yesterday in the beautiful Lake District, but we did! With the forecast set for rain, we planned a woodland couples portrait session at Dodds Wood. However, on the day, it was the complete opposite in a way only the Lake district can be. After a quick chat, and myself maaaayyyybeeeee underestimating the incline and summit, we started walking up the fell side. I won’t lie, we were hardly kitted out for it.
Nevertheless, this epic duo were up for it, until half way, three-fifths of the way and at the last incline. I think all three of us were like toddlers in the back seat asking if we were nearly there yet?! When we got to the top though… What. A. View. Standing on top of a small fell with this gorgeous couple was honestly fab! Even better was the by standers looking on in bewilderment! The truly wonderful thing about this couple though is that, they are each others best friend. I hardly gave any direction at all, I just let them be them and away we went. The laughter was non stop and neither was the obvious signs of adoration they had for each other.
I’m genuinely buzzing for their wedding next month and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen. from all the stories and plans I know about its going to be a party to remember. Wait, it doesnt stop there either! A few days later me and Becky are going to do a bridal portrait but let’s do that on the flat land hey?!
