Summer Wedding At Yew Tree Farm

Ash & Bryony live in sunny Leigh on Sea, Essex, and whilst they did not know each other personally, they had mutual friends. Ash, for some while, had seen Bryony in and around town and always had a crush on her but did not know how to go about it until, one day, everything changed.

Ash had seen Bryony on the train home from London midweek and soon after in a local bar (Ugo's) on Saturday, 2nd February 2019. Ash had been out with his brothers and friends watching the Six Nations rugby (England v Ireland) whilst Bryony was out with her mum, Sue. Ash plucked up the courage to go and introduce himself at the bar, offering a glass of red wine. After that, one thing led to another, and they danced away in a live music bar (Ten Green Bottles) into the early hours together.

They went out the following day for a "date" at Old Leigh Fishing Village. In short, they had a 48-hour date together and have never looked back. Soon after, Bryony moved in - along with the content of her entire wardrobe, says Ash.

Over the following years, they have traveled wherever possible across the UK during Covid (Scottish highlands, Lake District, Peak District, Bath, Norfolk, and Wales) whilst managing to visit Morocco, Austria, Prague, Amsterdam, Thailand, Israel, Jordan, Canada, and Porto/Lisbon - for their honeymoon they are traveling around India for a month over Christmas and New Years.

"Whilst we appreciate our Wedding is a big occasion, we are just grateful to be spending the day surrounded by all our loved ones and want it to be a relaxed affair, not contrived in any way and to ensure we cherish every moment as we recognise how fast it will come and go."
