Wow, what a day we had! This beautifully cute couple are just epic, in fact, you’ll remember them from their couples shoot not too long ago on Dodds Wood. They married at St Margaret and St James’ Church, Long Marton, Cumbria where Becky’s family home is. The wedding breakfast and celebrations all happened at the gorgeous family home as well with an amazing marquee (Cumbria Marquees) on the lawn. When I asked Becky about how she and Rob met she wrote these amazing words. So perfect, I decided to just share them! I hope you enjoy the words and photographs! “Rob and I first met on Tinder (I know, an unlikely source). Rob was scratching at the bottom of the barrel after quite a few months of being single 🙂 and I had just come out of a relationship, definitely not looking for another! We started chatting through Tinder and realised we had an awful lot in common, but more importantly common values and life goals. We met up for our first date on the 3rd March 2014 and sat talking for so long in the restaurant they started closing around us and in the end asked us to leave. It was that night, on our first date, that Rob told me he was going to marry me and I laughed it off. From that point, we had one more date and 2 days later we then split ways as Rob was going off on a ski holiday for a week then I was going to France for a week, which happened to overlap in the middle meaning we would be apart for 2.5 whole weeks. Half way through Rob’s ski trip I had just arrived in France. He informed me he had just brought flights to France to come and see me straight after he got back from holiday as he couldn’t wait any longer. From then on we have not spent more than a night or two apart from each other and we truly are each other’s best friend. We argue like cat and dog but they are massively outweighed by the amount of times we laugh, usually at each other. In November 2015 Rob took me to Copenhagen for a weekend break, took me to the tallest tower in the city and proposed to me as we looked out at the view. I obviously said yes and the rest is history.” As always, have a look at the below Slideshow and images from this epic day.
