Michael and Bethan are seriously cute and their Midsummer Muncastle Castle wedding proved that as it suited them down to the T! Having known each other from school and finally becoming an item when they were both 17, they moved from Lincolnshire to Manchester for university. Later they moved back home, to then move again to their current home in Cumbria.
The day itself ran flawlessly with both Bethan and Michael saying their own vows during the gorgeous ceremony held inside the castle's library. From there we ventured out for lawn games and soaking up the amazing midsummer sun before a wedding breakfast and speeches inside the castles great hall which is littered with incredible paintings, in fact, the entire castle is full of paintings.
Speeches are one of the highlights of a wedding day for me, and the speeches sure did not disappoint! From tears of laughter to heart-stopping thoughts of lost ones and of course, crippling embarrassing stories from the best man and the father of the bride!
This incredible couple has been together through, arguably the toughest years of anyone's life, they have gone through thick and thin over the last 12 years together and have come out of it all stronger than ever. I am so happy to now call them friends and I cannot wait to see what life's journey has in store for them over the next few years.
As always, have a look at the below slideshow and images from this epic day. If you would like me to photograph your big day, please feel free to contact me! Why not check out their Couple Portrait session too!?
