Every wedding is unique, and Sophie and Jack are no different. Their day was intimate, romantic, and perfectly documented in just two hours of photography coverage—just what they wanted and a great snapshot of their big day. The ceremony was held at the Carlisle Registry Office. After the ceremony, they headed to the cathedral, where the reception was taking place, and that’s where we took group shots and portraits.
Lady Gilford’s House Ceremony
Sophie and Jack chose to get married at the beautiful Lady Gilford’s House, the Carlisle Registry Office. The historic venue was a lovely and elegant setting for their vows and created an intimate atmosphere for their wedding. The ceremony was full of emotion, and they were beaming with happiness as they said their vows to each other in front of their closest family and friends.
Portraits and Group Photos at Carlisle Cathedral
After the ceremony, we headed to the magnificent Carlisle Cathedral. This beautiful location was a grand and timeless setting for Sophie and Jack’s wedding portraits and group photos. The cathedral grounds had plenty of lovely spots to shoot from, from the greenery to the architecture, so we could capture the couple in both candid and posed shots.
Sophie and Jack were together in every shot. Their chemistry and natural smiles made for some great photos. The group shots with their family and friends were just as fun and showed the love and support surrounding them on their big day.
A Good Fit
The two-hour Ceremony and portrait coverage was perfect for Sophie and Jack. We could capture the main moments of the day without feeling rushed or missing the essence of the day. From the emotional ceremony at Lady Gilford’s House to the stunning portraits at Carlisle Cathedral, every moment was documented with care.
If you’re thinking of a shorter photography coverage for your wedding, Sophie and Jack’s story is a great example of how it can work. It’s all about finding what’s right for you and documenting your special moments beautifully.
