Vicky and Curt chose to have an intimate wedding at Augill Castle, in the upper Eden Valley, right between the stunning Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. They both currently live in the Isle of Man and travelled across with 4 of their closest friends to enjoy a very special wedding day.
Neither of them are the centre of attention kinda folk, and while being madly in love with each other, the idea of a big grand wedding was just not for them. The solution was simple, travel across the waters to Cumbria with a few friends to say their vows, and later on back on the Isle of Man they would throw a big party for everyone to come along. Simple, to the point, and in my mind, perfect! I have written in the past that some people are not made for big weddings, but I firmly believe everyone is made for marriage, these guys sum that up perfectly!
They met in 2009 in "The Outback" (which is the Isles version of Walkabout) and their relationship only grew from strength to strength as they moved in together. Curt asked the big question on Vicky's 30th birthday in New York's Central Park, to the complete shock of Vicky who never saw it coming! They both adore adventure and travelling alongside live music in and off the Isle.
