Barbara & Mark said their vows at the stunningly rustic Three Hills Barn, in Torpenhow. It was my first time at this amazing venue but as soon as I arrived I knew it was perfect for this stunning couple!
They met at university when they were studying Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy. Much to their friend's amazement after 3 years of studying together, they fell for each other right at the end of their last term in 2008. “Typical of us to leave things till the last minute!”
Mark needed to move out of his student digs and while he had a great job he didn’t have a home and so he moved in with Barbara and her mum. “It was a bit of a squeeze but we just loved being together.”
“We have made some very good friends since we moved and love to walk around the nature reserve. We have joined Crossfit Hawkeye 4 years ago in a bid to keep us healthy but this has become more of a community of friends which many if which will be attending. (Expect some good biceps)”
“We love being able to spend Time together especially walking our dog Bella in the lakes. Our favourite place to go is Buttermere for a walk an ice cream and a pint! We used to do a lot of geocaching but this has dwindled as our lives seem to have got busier and busier!”
“We chose Three Hills Barn as our venue as it is chilled out and relaxed and Jenny and Mark made us feel totally at ease. Which is very important as Mark, in particular, was nervous about being the centre of attention on the day. We love the feel of the venue as I grew up on a farm and mark helped out on a farm when we were both young. “
“It’s been a very busy lead up to the wedding and despite being engaged since 2014 we only really set a date 9 months before so already had a ski holiday booked in for 4 weeks before the big day- thankfully neither of us have any injuries other than a couple of very good hangovers!”
“we are both also looking forward to getting back to long walks with Bella and planning our honeymoon in Cape Verde”
