Intimate and Outdoor: A bride and groom have an intimate outdoor ceremony as they walk down the aisle at their wedding in Keswick.

Intimate Outdoor Keswick Wedding With Celebrant & Private Chef

Nestled in the scenic beauty of Keswick, Bristowe Hill witnessed a love story unfold in an intimate outdoor wedding. Emily and James, accompanied by their adorable dogs Luna and Oscar, embarked on a journey of love, laughter, and delightful surprises. With the talented Penelope Jayne as their wedding celebrant and host and the culinary maestro Julian from The Cumbrian Chef, this celebration would be a day of cherished memories.

Emily and James opted to get married legally before their Bristowe Hill wedding day, allowing them to have a bespoke ceremony in a non-licensed venue and have the wedding day of their dreams.

Bristowe Hill recipient of the Self Catering Holiday Property of the Year award at the Cumbria Tourism Awards 2018, Bristowe Hill is more than an elegant Edwardian Lakeland mansion—it's the perfect canvas for your bespoke wedding. Imagine exchanging vows surrounded by 360-degree views of Lakeland's majestic peaks, in a setting that seamlessly blends period charm with modern comforts.

As you follow the tree-lined driveway through the five acres taken from the Lake District's most enchanting corner, a feeling of immediate seclusion envelops you. Yet, this retreat is far from remote—Keswick town center is just a short stroll away.

The ceremony began with a unique and heartwarming entrance – James' Dad, Stuart, led the way down the aisle with Luna and Oscar, stealing the show. Oscar, the charming ring bearer. Following suit were the lovely bridesmaids. Emily, made her entrance with her mother, Sarah, by her side. It was a moment filled with emotion and love, as Sarah proudly walked with her daughter on this beautiful journey.

The ceremony unfolded with meaningful traditions. A ring-warming ceremony allowed the couple's rings to be passed around, touched, and blessed by each guest, infusing them with love and good wishes. Adding a touch of fun, the couple decided to determine the order of vow exchange with a friendly game of rock, paper, scissors, resulting in shared laughter and a unique twist to the ceremony.

A close family friend presented a heartfelt reading, weaving words that resonated with the love that filled the air. Each element contributed to the authenticity of the ceremony.

As the ceremony concluded, guests joyfully showered the newlyweds with confetti, creating a whimsical aisle for them to walk through. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter and music, capturing the essence of a celebration in full bloom.

Penelope Jayne, the wedding celebrant and host, ensured that every moment flowed seamlessly, infusing the day with fun and heartfelt emotions. Her dedication extended beyond the ceremony, as she stayed throughout the day, ensuring every detail was attended to.

Julian from The Cumbrian Chef curated a culinary experience that delighted the senses. From appetizers to the main course, every dish was gorgeous and full of flavours.

In the embrace of nature, surrounded by loved ones, Emily and James celebrated a wedding that reflected their personalities, love for each other, and the joy of togetherness. It was a day where each detail, from the furry companions to the culinary masterpieces, contributed to a love story that will be remembered forever.

We must also shout out to Annabel from Pawfect Occasions, who looked after Luna and Oscar all day, ensuring they were involved at the right times of the day, walking and feeding them, and helping them chill out when needed.
