The Laura Ashley Hotel, The Belsfield, is a stunning venue for any wedding. With views over Windermere in the heart of the Lake District and 6 acres of gardens its hard to go wrong. Kim & Ian's Intimate and Elegant Belsfield wedding was gorgeous. Surrounded by those closest and dearest to them they said their vows and celebrated the start of their joint journey together as husband and wife.
Kim & Ian met online and then had a quick first double date, going for drinks on the Saturday before deciding to go to York on the Sunday and almost missing the last train home! They love that they both have the same sense of humour and that they are similar in many ways but then different in others, i.e. Ian is extremely messy whereas Kim is extremely organised to the point of military precision.
They chose the Belsfield Hotel because they instantly fell in love with it when they visited and realise it suited their laid back but style-conscious characters that could allow us to sit back and enjoy our day without needing to force the day on people. "It speaks for itself and even if it rains there would as much of a good atmosphere inside as out."
Kim & Ian's Intimate & Elegant Laura Ashley Belsfield Wedding was the perfect combo of style and chill, exactly what they were after. Nothing was over the top, but everything was just perfectly balanced and beautiful, something I believe this venue lends itself too.
