Jim & Suzanne are the ultimate love birds from high school. It was only when Jim proposed on Christmas day 2020 (the one day we were allowed out of lockdown) that he and Suzanne started looking into each other's family paths and realised that their two families have been very close friends in previous generations.
They chose the stunning Blaithwaite Estate for a wedding venue because it meant they could surround themselves with friends and family for the weekend staying in the estate's huge array of rooms and self-catering, helping to add to the chilled-out vibes they were after. The weather was stunning and the sun shone all day meaning we were all able to enjoy an outdoor wedding ceremony by Blaithwaite estates pond hidden away in some woodlands at the front of the main house.
"The theme of the wedding is family and love, we have our little boy who is everything to us and our nearest and dearest around us to celebrate the day. We would love the day to be really relaxed and for everyone to just have a lovely weekend. As long as you have good food and good people you can't go wrong."
Suzanne: "The main things I love about James are he makes me laugh constantly, he is my best friend before anything else and I love how much he adores our little George. He is the best dad in the entire world and I feel so lucky to have spent my whole adulthood with this wonderful man. We truly have grown up together and I couldn't/wouldn't do it with anyone else. James and George are my everything and he is the calm to my crazy when it comes to stress nothing fazes him, he lets me do all the stressing for the both of us."
James: "I love how Suzanne is kind, caring and considerate and always puts everyone ahead of herself. She is a truly amazing mother to our son George. I feel blessed that she wants to spend the rest of our lives together and make memories on top of the already amazing memories we have. She is one in a million and I couldn't do any of it without her, She is my everything. I just feel lucky that she sat behind me in history class."
