UK & Destination Wedding Photography

No Matter Where Your Story Takes You
If you’re looking for a UK wedding photographer who travels anywhere and everywhere – you’re in the right place. While I’m based in Cumbria and regularly shoot weddings in the Lake District, Yorkshire, and the Peak District, my work often takes me far beyond.
I’ve been lucky enough to capture love stories all across the UK and abroad – from quiet village weddings in Tayvallich, to city celebrations in Glasgow and St Paul’s Cathedral in London. I’ve documented ceremonies in Northamptonshire, the Cotswolds, Norfolk, the Isle of Man, the South Coast, and even destination weddings like a sun-soaked day on the shores of Lake Garda in Italy.
Whether your wedding is happening on a remote Scottish island, a Georgian manor in the countryside, or in the heart of a buzzing city, I’ll be there with cameras in hand. I’m a wedding photographer who travels across the UK and Europe, capturing days just as they are – naturally, honestly, and without turning them into a photoshoot.
My style is documentary wedding photography, which means no awkward posing or forced smiles. Just real moments, genuine emotion, and a story that feels completely your own.
The locations may change, but my approach stays the same: calm, unobtrusive, and focused on what really matters.

Travel & Accommodation – What You Need to Know
I regularly travel across the UK and beyond for weddings. If your celebration is outside of Cumbria, the Lake District, Yorkshire, or the Peak District, here’s how travel and accommodation usually works:
Will there be extra costs for travel?
Yes, possibly – depending on your location and the coverage you’ve booked. I keep things simple and transparent, and I’ll always break it down in your quote.
What’s a typical travel arrangement?
Example:
If you’ve booked me for 10+ hours and your venue is a few hours’ drive away, I’ll likely need:
- Two nights’ accommodation – one before the wedding, one after
- Fuel or travel cost contribution
Who books the accommodation?
Whatever works best for you:
- Some couples get good rates with their venue and include me in their booking
- Others recommend a local B&B or hotel nearby
- I’m also happy to book my own accommodation and pass on the cost – no problem
Why not just drive there and back?
I’ve worked with people who drive hours the morning of the wedding, photograph all day, then drive straight home. Personally, I don’t think that’s safe – and I know it’s not how I do my best work.
Being rested and present makes a huge difference to how I capture your day, so I prefer to plan things in a way that allows me to show up 100% ready to tell your story.
