Amanda & Jamies Blaithwaite House Wedding
Amanda & Jamie said their vows at the stunning Blaithewaite House, just outside of Wigton, Cumbria. It was my first time at this stunning country house and I am happy to say it did not disappoint!
After becoming a groom-to-be myself, I now understand how manic weddings really are. This made me re-think my business and how I work with my clients. My work is based around you, the couple. I am completely bespoke to you and your needs. I have developed these packages to help you find the option that is best for you.
I’m an experienced and creative wedding photographer, and I’d like to think I’ve become adept at capturing those special, and sometimes unexpected, moments. I favour an informal, documentary-style approach, remaining unobtrusive as I obtain naturalistic shots that don’t feel posed or make guests feel self-conscious about having their photograph taken.
Based in Carlisle, Cumbria, I’ve worked as a Lake District wedding photographer and beyond, so whether you’re looking for a Cumbria wedding photographer to make the most of the stunning backdrops the county has to offer, or if you’re looking for a destination wedding photographer, or maybe Just anywhere in the UK, please get in touch and let’s have a chat. As I’m more than happy to travel as a destination wedding photographer!

They took on much of the work to create their day themselves and worked with a few chosen suppliers to keep their day bespoke and hopefully memorable for all the right reasons. With a focus on fun, family and just being together, they wanted a relaxed, warm and happy day free from pomp and ceremony to let their guests and themselves feel relaxed.

Anna & Lee made their lifelong commitment to each other at the marvellous Armathwaite Hall overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. After hearing all of the plans for the wedding day while photographing their Couple Portrait Session back in October, I couldn’t wait to photograph their Armathwaite Hall wedding.

Hannah trashed her wedding dress with Paint from Paintglow based right here in Cumbria. I adore Trash the dress shoots as they’re always so much fun.

A beautiful small village church wedding with a grand wedding reception at the fantastic Lartington Hall on the Lartington Hall estate.

Handmade wedding dress, trial bikes and tricks and a live rock venue. It sure makes for an alternative wedding!

Castles and Lakes, this Malcesine Castle wedding has it all. Beautiful destination wedding day for all to enjoy in the stunning Malcesine.
Our bridal portrait location of choice was Lowther Castle and Gardens near Penrith. Having photographed Becky at her and Robs couples Portrait session and at their wedding only 3 days before I think its fair to say me and Becky get on rather well which really helps bring out that natural real look.

They married at St Margaret and St James’ Church, Long Marton, Cumbria where Becky’s family home is. The wedding breakfast and celebrations all happened at the gorgeous family home as well with an amazing marquee on the lawn.
