A Rocking Rustic Knipe Hall Wedding
Korin and Lewis had an amazing rustic wedding at Knipe Hall, a 17th-century grade-II listed farmhouse, in the Lowther Valley, Cumbria.
After becoming a groom-to-be myself, I now understand how manic weddings really are. This made me re-think my business and how I work with my clients. My work is based around you, the couple. I am completely bespoke to you and your needs. I have developed these packages to help you find the option that is best for you.
I’m an experienced and creative wedding photographer, and I’d like to think I’ve become adept at capturing those special, and sometimes unexpected, moments. I favour an informal, documentary-style approach, remaining unobtrusive as I obtain naturalistic shots that don’t feel posed or make guests feel self-conscious about having their photograph taken.
Based in Carlisle, Cumbria, I’ve worked as a Lake District wedding photographer and beyond, so whether you’re looking for a Cumbria wedding photographer to make the most of the stunning backdrops the county has to offer, or if you’re looking for a destination wedding photographer, or maybe Just anywhere in the UK, please get in touch and let’s have a chat. As I’m more than happy to travel as a destination wedding photographer!

Ashley & Gerard’s Rudding Park Hotel Wedding was stunning! If you’re wondering why you recognise this awesome duo then its because they have had two couple portrait sessions over the years and Ashley has been a bridesmaid at two previous weddings…

Though the rain came and stayed most of the day they proved that rain on a wedding day isn’t an issue at all and that you should just embrace the rain.

The Cotswolds is gorgeous (arguably the Lake District is better, but that’s a debate for another day) and it is right on the edge of the Cotswolds that Dan & Tara had their outdoor wedding ceremony with the gorgeous rolling hills of Oxfordshire in the background.

Storrs Hall is a stunning 4-star hotel Georgian Mansion house in the Lake District on the shores of Windermere, It is a place of absolute luxury and is a perfect venue for a lake district wedding. Yew Tree Farm, once owned by Beatrix Potter in the 1930s, is a working farm near Coniston in the Lake District. Believe it or not but Yew Tree Farm is still home to many of her furnishings. Needless to say, this amazing working farm is an incredible location for a wedding and it’s exactly where Andrew and Lucinda had their non-traditional rustic barn wedding.

Well, what can I say? Charlotte & Jacks amazing wedding on the shores of Ullswater int he Lake District was amazing. The weather was, erm, at best, classic Lake District weather. Pouring down at some points on the morning to spitting during the stunning ceremony these two had created at raining for the confetti photo… to glorious sunshine and dramatic clouds.

Becky and Rich met through mutual friends at the end of January 2015 in a bar in Leeds called Carpe Diem. Becky was drinking a not so lovely strawberry daiquiri which contained a little too much sugar – needless to say she was not a fan! Their first date was at Roundhay Park where Rich spoke about flanges and spotted a plastic bag which turned out to be a dead bird – it’s safe to say things looked good from the off!

Cassie & Jonny said their vows in front of friends and family at The Halston followed by their wedding reception at The Tithe Barn Carlisle. I love a Tithe Barn Wedding, It just has such a cool feel even though its right in the centre of town.

Music was the bedrock of the day with their own compilation of songs throughout the day. They even played a duet together before their first dance which was played and sung by family members. I won’t lie, knowing a little of what they have been through, combined with the lyrics, and the fact family were singing it… I was almost in tears!
